The brake system uses fluid in hydraulic lines to operate the brake on each individual wheel. These vehicles are being recalled because junctions of these fluid lines could develop leaks. Loss of brake fluid can reduce braking efficiency, increasing the risk of a crash or personal injury. Dealers will inspect the affected brake line junctions and tighten them as necessary free of charge to resolve the concern.

Recall repairs on your Jaguar must be performed by a Jaguar dealership. Jaguar began notifying known owners of affected vehicles beginning in January, 2015. How many recalled cars can the dealer repair each day (while also doing their daily service business)?

Recalls are unrelated to your warranty coverage. Any recalls that are issued for safety-related items on your vehicle will be repaired by the vehicle manufacturer at no cost to you.
