An electrical problem with the vehicle may lead to loss of power steering and an inability to shift the vehicle from 'Park'. Low speed maneuvers while parking may be especially difficult with heavier steering feel, and may cause loss of vehicle control.

Hyundai will begin contacting owners June 7, 2014. Contact your dealer if you experience heavy steering especially at low speeds, or difficulty shifting from 'Park'. If you don't receive notification in a timely manner and believe you should have, please contact your dealer for further instruction. They may ask for your vehicle identification number (VIN), so please have it handy when you call. Dealers will repair or replace a wiring harness free of charge. Hyundai's number for this recall is 119.

Recalls are unrelated to your warranty coverage. Any recalls that are issued for safety-related items on your vehicle will be repaired by the vehicle manufacturer at no cost to you.
