Suspension & Steering
A wheel fracture could cause the circular rim to separate, resulting in a loss of tire pressure, increasing the risk of a crash.
Vehicles equipped with 19 inch non-aluminum wheels may have the wheels fracture from impacts, such as driving over deep potholes. Dealers will replace the wheels free of charge to resolve the concern.
Kia will notify owners of affected vehicles beginning in June 2014. You can check with your dealer to see if your vehicle is involved in this program. It is helpful to have your VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) on hand when you contact them. The Kia recall number is SC107.
