Recall Details

The steering column may not have been assembled properly, resulting in certain portions of the column to become loose and separate. Dealers will inspect and correct the steering column as necessary free of charge to resolve the concern.

Our Quick Take

Certain components of the steering column may separate from the vehicle, which would result in loss of steering control. This would increase risk of a crash.

What Should You Do?

Recalls on your Nissan must be performed by a Nissan dealership. Nissan began notifying known owners of affected vehicles beginning in November, 2013. If you did not receive a notification, but wish to check to see if your vehicle is included, please contact one of your local Nissan dealerships. They will also check for any other uncompleted recalls on your vehicle. For best results, be prepared to provide your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) to the service department consultant you speak with.
