THE AFFECTED ACU WILL NOT OPERATE AS DESIGNED AND THIS ISSUE MAY CAUSE THE AIR BAGS NOT TO INFLATE IN A CRASH WHEN THEY ARE DESIGNED TO INFLATE. THIS COULD INCREASE THE RISK OF INJURY.

11V-408 Recall Summary

Fifty-four vehicles are being recalled because the airbag control unit (ACU) was assembled incorrectly. As a result, the airbags may not deploy as expected in the event of a crash. This could increase the risk of injury. Dealers will replace the airbag control unit to correct this concern.

11V-408 Recall Solution

Nissan will notify owners of affected vehicles beginning August 22, 2011. There are no symptoms related to this recall. If don't receive notification and you feel you should have, please contact your dealer. It's helpful to have your vehicle identification number (VIN) when you call.
