THIS MAY RESULT IN THE MANUAL SEAT PAWL NOT FULLY ENGAGING INCREASING THE RISK OF PERSONAL INJURIES IN THE EVENT OF A CRASH.
Manually adjusted front seats may not properly engage the locking pawl. In the event of a crash, the seat could move without warning, increasing the risk of injury. Dealers will inspect the seat tracks and replace the seat assembly as necessary. This recall is scheduled to begin on May 27, 2008.
This should be considered a high priority recall. In the event of a crash, the front seats could move without warning. Please contact your Nissan dealer. They will check to see if your specific vehicle is affected and advise you on what to do next. Always have your vehicle identification number (VIN) handy when you call.
