Mechanical stress on two fuel pipes in the engine compartment, combined with the presence of corrosive agents in the fuel, can result in a crack in the fuel line. A fuel leak can result, increasing the risk of a fire. Dealers will replace the two suspect fuel lines with redesigned parts to correct this concern. The Lexus recall number is 7LC.
