WHEN THE REAR LEFT HAND SECOND ROW SEAT BELT IS USED, THE BUCKLE MAY NOT BE FULLY RETAINED. A SEAT OCCUPANT MAY NOT BE PROPERLY RESTRAINED INCREASING THE RISK OF PERSONAL INJURY.
548 vehicles were assembled with incorrectly built seat belt buckle mountings. When the left side, second row seat belt is used, the buckle may not be fully retained in the event of a crash. A seat occupant may not be properly restrained, increasing the risk of personal injury. Dealers will replace the second row left hand seat belt buckle to correct this concern. The Land Rover recall number is B021.
Land Rover will notify owners of affected vehicles beginning November 2, 2005. There are no symptoms related to this recall. If you don't receive notification and you feel you should have, please contact your dealer. It's helpful to have your vehicle identification number (VIN) when you call.
