After a routine oil change at my Mercedes dealer, I noticed a small amount of oil on my garage floor. On my way to the dealer for repairs, the red light went on. I immediately stopped and called a tow truck. Bottom line is that there was an crack in the oil pan which caused a plug to come loose. Bottom line is that I need an engine replacement. How much does this cost and is this something that the dealer should have noticed before returning the car to me?
