Can u bypass alarm when key stops working

Unfortunately, Land Rover thought that the p38 (Range Rover from 1995-2002) would be a target for thieves and went above and beyond to make it hard for that to happen. Have you tried re-keying the key to the rover? all you do is hold the lock button and cycle between lock then unlock 2 times. Try the fob and if it still doesn't work increase the time holding the key in the lock position and unlock position. This should fix the key fob issue.
