What I am trying to locate is the wiring diagram for the back of the Harmon kardon logic 7 amp. Ideally I only need to locate the inputs from the head unit to the amp. On newer systems there is a front output l/r and rear output l/r and sub output l/r these go from the head unit to one or perhaps 3 separate amps via RCA cords and attach to the inputs on the respective amps. Since the connections from the head unit to the amp are only single wires it is difficult for me to find out which wire is which? Since there is a sub I am assuming there are wires from the head unit the amp ie left right for the main area of the amp and I am hoping that there is a left and right connection to the amp that I should dedicated to the or for the San part of The amp. If so I want to leave all the speakers and amp in place but what I would like to do is obtain the output from the head unit going to the sub amp area of the amp or the input on the amp for the sub part of the amp then take those wires and attach rca adapters then plug them into my new mono sub amp inputs and then also locate the remote wire between The amp and head unit tie onto that and then I will run separate power ground from the new sub amp then attach new speaker wire from the new amp to an external sub woofer I purchased and will disconnect the existing sub woofer.
