My car was fine I had the hood up now won't start

If it won't crank at all and no lights are coming on you will want to check the battery or jump start the vehicle. If the engine is cranking and not starting then you may have an engine sensor fault, fuel or ignition issue etc. Very odd that all you did was basically open the hood.
