I bought my landrover freelander with poor acceleration and what we were told was an exhaust leak. Turns out the idoler pulley bearings were shot and the belt was melting the pulley! Replaced pulley and all three timing belts. Still has poor acceleration. Disconnected mass air flow and the truck ran completely terrible and threw an engine code. What could the problem be for the poor acceleration? We are going to have spark plugs replaced tomorrow in an effort to narrow down the causes.
