Low battery voltage can cause the light to come on, so you can check that, but otherwise you'll need to have the diagnostic codes checked to see why the light is on. I believe the battery voltage needs to be at least 11 volts or so, under that and the light will come on.

Do not drive! Have it towed to a shop. After ten years, all aribags can fail!
