Worn truck lid weatherstrip may cause rattle, water leak, or dust on Plymouth Neon
Problem overview
When the trunk lid weatherstrip (seal) is worn, the lid may rattle, water may leak into the trunk, or dust may get into the trunk. After installing a new trunk lid (deck lid) weatherstrip, be sure to adjust the trunk slam bumpers so the power trunk latch opens the trunk on the first attempt.
