Nissan Armada power liftgate malfunction with loose bolt issue on Nissan Armada

Some Nissan Armada owners report experiencing power liftgate malfunctions attributed to loose bolt issues, which can lead to motor failures and loose connections. These problems may manifest as an inoperable or noisy power rear liftgate, often caused by a loose or missing bolt on the power back door motor assembly. Additionally, some first-generation Armada owners have noted that a loose lower ball-pivot for the lift arm can result in sticky operation and eventual failure of the mechanism. A loose control arm may also indicate that the bolt connecting it to the motor has come loose. In cases where the power liftgate is nonfunctional, particularly after water exposure in flood vehicles, checking the micro switch on the back lift handle is advisable. To troubleshoot, some owners recommend inspecting Fuse #4 and Fuse #9 in the Underhood Fuse box, as these fuses power the liftgate module and actuator.
