Some INFINITI I30 owners report experiencing airbag deployment issues involving metal fragments, which can occur even without an accident. This problem is linked to the inflator within the airbag system that may explode during deployment, releasing sharp metal pieces into the cabin and posing a significant safety risk to drivers and passengers. INFINITI has responded by offering free recall repairs to replace the front passenger airbag inflators with safer alternatives.
