    OBD-II Code Powertrain Control Module (PCM) failure is defined as a Evaporative Emissions (EVAP) Fuel Vapor Temperature Sensor

    Some vehicles may use a Fuel Tank Temperature sensor to monitor the temperature of the fuel in the tank. If this sensor fails, code P2028 is stored.

    Common Problems That Trigger the P2028 Code
