The Inverter portion of the Inverter/Converter Assembly converts the direct current (DC) voltage from the battery to a three phase alternating current (AC) to drive the hybrid motor and transaxle assembly. If the High Voltage control module detects an issue with the inverter assembly, it will set code P0A79.
