    OBD-II Code Transmission may not shift properly is defined as a Gear Shift Control Module "A" Performance

    The Transmission Control Module (TCM) and the engine computer (PCM) constantly talk to each other to ensure that the driver's request for performance is met. If the TCM and PCM fail to communicate, code P085D is stored.
