OBD-II Code Engine may not start is defined as a Starter Disable Circuit Low
The engine computer (PCM) verifies that the transmission is in Park/Neutral before allowing the vehicle to crank. If the Transmission Control Module does not tell the PCM it is okay to crank the vehicle, code P081A will be set.
