The Fuel Pressure Sensor monitors the fuel pressure in the fuel system. The Fuel Pump Control Module uses this information to adjust the fuel pump's on time as needed. If the Fuel Pump Control Module does not see a change in pressure from the Fuel Pressure Sensor when the fuel pump is activated, it will set code P018D.
OBD-II Code Decreased engine performance is defined as a Fuel Pressure Sensor "B" Circuit High
The Fuel Pressure Sensor monitors the fuel pressure in the fuel system. The Fuel Pump Control Module uses this information to adjust the fuel pump's on time as needed.
