Knocking sound coming from just in front of the supercharger. I suspected the supercharger but it can also be from the engine.
When was the last time u changed the supercharger oil?? There is that small little hole that is hex key you would use to open it. What is best is to go buy one of those spray bottles that are at dollar stores or so and undo that hole on supercharger, under the top to the spray bottle, stick the top of spray bottle with the hose into the supercharger and keep squeezing the top of spray bottle into the bottom of spray bottle to catch the oil, then you need to go to any Gm dealership and buy 2 8oz bottles of supercharger oil($50) or so a piece and dump them into your supercharger, should run like charm!
Rattle in front section of supercharger. Changed coupler and fixed problem. Noise came back after 10,000 more miles.
