"No start" and Check Engine Light Due to Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor Failure on Volvo 960
Problem overview
The engine will crank over but will not start. The Check Engine Light is on and/or there is a diagnostic code for the engine coolant temperature sensor (ECT). This may be caused by a faulty sensor (located at the back of the cylinder head).
