My car want start brought to the shop and I was told the feul pump going out.I have to order the part to get fix I was seeming do my car has a recall
My 2005 Altima three months (10/25/15) ago began having issues starting. Over the last month it became hard to start and finally on 1/25/16 morning it would not longer start at all. I had AAA tow my car to my local mechanic in Simi Valley,Ca. it was diagnosed as a premature fuel pump failure. The mechanic shopped around for a replacement only to find that Nissan makes a California version that the Dealer only carries. The standard version is roughly $150-$299 The dealer charged us $470.00 for the California fuel pump. Wow I got taken badly, this is a 2005 Nissan Altima not a BMW,Mercedes or Lexus. Then a friend informed me of the Nissan Altima fuel pump recall. Come to discover my 2005 vehicle is part of that recall. I went back to the dealer for help they gave me the runaround Please help me find a way recoupe my expenses.
Engine light so brought 2003 Nissan Altima to Goodyear. Fuel tank leak tested, ECU codes scanned, and ultimately found that fuel pump assembly needed replacement. Would this likely be elijable for cost reimbursement?
car shakes when idles, loses power when trying to accelerate... can't drive it anywhere, haven't gotten it fixed yet
Car ran fine... Service engine soon light came on. I parked the car. when I turned the key, the starter turns and everything sounds fine, but the engine never turns all the way over. no solution found so far
Suddenly the car didn't want to start.... I replaced the fuel pump without knowing of the recall and now the new fuel pump has gone out again so the problem is still not fixed
When stop athe a light and try to go the car turns off and is very difficult to go after that every time I step on the gas and is on drive the car stalls and after that it turns off...
I have a 2010 Altima. Car has ran fine then all of a sudden go to stop at a stop sign car began to shake/vibrate/shudder like. I go to pull out from the stop sign and car began to shake more and spudder like it was going to go dead or running out of gas.....then its like it flat lined out and ran fine. Began doing this every time you first get in the vehicle to put it in R or D and when you have to stop. Car has left me stranded twice now and had to be towed both times?????
Fuel pump. car acts like it don't want start. Tries but don't. After four or five tries sometimes it does. Sometimes have to just flip key on and off before starting. Once sit for awhile problem starts over.
Car is shaking won't take off like it should Will die at a stoplight second time this has been fixed in six montages was told I need a New fuel pump was thinking that this shouldn't need one with less than 100000 miles
I went to auto zone to get a reading , it said fuel pump on their mutiple times and mutiple mechanics told me that was one problem why my car won't start all the way up when it gets stuck.
When its cold out my car wont start. When I come to a stop the car shakes and sounds like its going to cut off.
