Engine light so brought 2003 Nissan Altima to Goodyear. Fuel tank leak tested, ECU codes scanned, and ultimately found that fuel pump assembly needed replacement. Would this likely be elijable for cost reimbursement?
Won't start said it was fuel pump bad
My 2005 Altima three months (10/25/15) ago began having issues starting. Over the last month it became hard to start and finally on 1/25/16 morning it would not longer start at all. I had AAA tow my car to my local mechanic in Simi Valley,Ca. it was diagnosed as a premature fuel pump failure. The mechanic shopped around for a replacement only to find that Nissan makes a California version that the Dealer only carries. The standard version is roughly $150-$299 The dealer charged us $470.00 for the California fuel pump. Wow I got taken badly, this is a 2005 Nissan Altima not a BMW,Mercedes or Lexus. Then a friend informed me of the Nissan Altima fuel pump recall. Come to discover my 2005 vehicle is part of that recall. I went back to the dealer for help they gave me the runaround Please help me find a way recoupe my expenses.
car shakes when idles, loses power when trying to accelerate... can't drive it anywhere, haven't gotten it fixed yet
My car has slow power when driving. The starts to sputer when trying to go at 50miles per hr.
Suddenly the car didn't want to start.... I replaced the fuel pump without knowing of the recall and now the new fuel pump has gone out again so the problem is still not fixed
Car ran fine... Service engine soon light came on. I parked the car. when I turned the key, the starter turns and everything sounds fine, but the engine never turns all the way over. no solution found so far
Car is shaking won't take off like it should Will die at a stoplight second time this has been fixed in six montages was told I need a New fuel pump was thinking that this shouldn't need one with less than 100000 miles
I went to auto zone to get a reading , it said fuel pump on their mutiple times and mutiple mechanics told me that was one problem why my car won't start all the way up when it gets stuck.
Trying to start car, car sounds like it wants to start but will not start.
Engine will turn over but not start. Had checked at mechanic and they said the fuel pump needs to be replaced. Called Nissan dealership (and looked on a .gov website for recalls where I entered my VIN) and was told by the dealership (and the website) that there are NO recalls for my vehicle. It is a 2005 Nissan Altima 2.5 S. Cost for repair will be $600!
Whisting sound. Put gas petal to floor does not speed up
The car won't start. It's trying to fire but won't start. The fuel pump is putting out pressure but only a little bit it doesn't spray out. Just like a little flow
