Misfire and/or Check Engine Light Due To Failed Ignition Coil on Buick Lucerne

Problem Description and Possible Solution

An ignition coil may fail causing one of the cylinders to misfire. Each of the two banks of cylinders has its own coil assembly. If one ignition coil fails the coil assembly for the corresponding cylinder bank must be replaced.

engine started and then stopped. had car towed to dealer where they had to replace one of the coils and the control module which was damaged due to coil shorting out.
misfire between 40 and 50 mph. - plugs & wires replaced - no codes - 1 coil pack replaced. runs fine at higher speeds.

was told possible tcc sol. but car does not stall and no codes
WAS OK WHEN PARKED AND UNUSED FOR COUPLE DAYS, THEN WHEN WENT TO USE - NO START - FUMBLED WITH TRYING TO START AND DON'T KNOW WHY BUT STARTED BUT WAS RUNNING ROUGH AND SMELLING - DROVE FOR DIAGNOSTIC AT ADVANCE AUTO WHICH SHOWED A PO300 CODE. WENT TO A REPAIR SHOP FOR FURTHER INFO AND WAS INFORMED THAT COIL 1 AND COIL 4 WAS MISFIRING AND HISTORY SHOWED MISFIRING FOR 21,000 TIMES. ????? AM PRESENTLY NEEDING TO WORK ON BEING ABLE TO PAY FOR REPAIRS (HOPING MY PRACTICALLY BUMPER TO BUMPER WARRANTY WILL HELP). ONLY HAVE HAD CAR SINCE JANUARY 2016.
Car stalls. Then restarts after few minutes. Tack goes to 0. And doesn't work. Then on next startup works again. Engine sputtered while idling and engine light came on
