Experiencing an intermittent thrumming / knocking noise. It occurs after driving 20 minutes or more and seems to only occur when steering to the left. Problem is currently undiagnosed.
Dealer is replacing strut bushings and mounts under warranty. That warranty is about to expire in a few months. Is this going to need replacing again in another 40,000 miles or has there been some remedy for the problem? How much would this job cost $$ if needs to be redone? Noting that it happened in as little as 19,000 miles for someone else above.

I would have actually called this a "rattle" noise in my case. is that the same as a "knock"??

Thanks
Similar clunking noise when turning hard left, turns out it was the strut. The dealer is replacing the entire package, strut, strut mount, spring and damper.
