On April 12, 2016, Kia recalled 3,099 Kia K900. Kia motors america (kia) is recalling certain model year 2015-2016 k900 vehicles manufactured december 18, 2013 to january 11, 2016 and equipped with led headlights. in the affected vehicles, when using the multi-function light switch in "auto" mode, electrical resistance may build in the switch and result in the headlights flickering or turning off when driving.

The headlights may begin to flicker and possibly turn off while using the "AUTO" function of the headlight and multi-function switch. This would cause reduced visibility while driving and increase risk of an accident.

Recalls on your Kia must be performed by a Kia dealership. Kia will begin notifying known owners of affected vehicles in May, 2016. If you do not receive a notification, but wish to check to see if your vehicle is included, please contact one of your local Kia dealerships. They will also check for any other uncompleted recalls on your vehicle. For best results, be prepared to provide your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) to the service department consultant you speak with. The Kia recall number is SC130.
