Just replaced thermostat in my Land Rover LR2 and it is running hot? What is causing this?

Land Rover LR2 Just replaced the thermostat in this vehicle Monday, it is still running hot. While driving and idling at red lights. What is wrong with my vehicle . Any suggestions I can get is greatly appreciated.
