On certain passenger vehicles, the accelerator pedal arms were incorrectly assembled by the supplier. the clearance between the accelerator pedal and the brake pedal may be reduced. this condition can increase the risk of both pedals being operated at the same time by the driver.

Incorrect assembly of accelerator pedal may cause you to accidentally press both pedals at the same time or pedal may get stuck on stop. This may increase the chance of an accident. 

Jaguar will notify customers of affected vehicles beginning August 11, 2005. If you have not been contacted, notice something strange with your pedals and feel your car falls under this recall. Contact your local dealership. It is helpful to have your VIN Vehicle Identification Number Handy when doing so.
