Jaguar land rover north america, llc (jaguar) is recalling certain 2017 jaguar xe vehicles manufactured july 12, 2016, to december 2, 2016, and jaguar f-type vehicles manufactured july 14, 2016, to december 16, 2016. the affected vehicles have front seat seatbelt pretensioners that may not function properly in the event of a crash.

The front seat belts have pretensioners that secure occupants in an accident. In the affected vehicles, the front seat belt pretensioners may not function properly in a crash, resulting in increased risk of injury.

Recall repairs on your Jaguar must be performed by a Jaguar dealership. Jaguar will notify known owners of affected vehicles beginning in February, 2017. If you do not receive a notification, but wish to check to see if your vehicle is included, please contact one of your local Jaguar dealerships. They will also check for any other incomplete recalls on your vehicle.
