Temp, clock and some of the computer module readouts have gone bad. Mechanic is looking in salvage yard for replacement component. Not worth $2500 on a 14 year old vehicle.
Entire computer screen failed.
Unrecognizable characters appear on 2 or the 3 panels.
Main panel too faint to read.
Had to replace entire inst cluster to correct this problem. It was covered under my extended warranty (thankfully) since the cost was 2500. I only paid the $100 ded.
My clock panel has been acting funny... It will work and then show partial time.. It is quite aggravating to have this happen.
began to have this problem at 30K mileage, replaced the entire unit for warranty. then by 50K mileage the problem recurred, replaced the entire unit again, also at extended warranty coverage. then at 75K mileage, problem resurfaced again, this time i gave up and let the problem stand without any correction.
First one was the temperature indicator for passengers side. Then the outside temperature indicator went out. Now the radio screen is not showing up unless you turn it off and then off again.
my dashboard lights/odometer/rpm/gas gauge went out and now I noticed my blikers burnt out Is this a fuse issue or what
