First the inside drivers door handle just broke off in my hand @ 150000 miles. Then later both drivers and passenger side door handles have broken @ 400000 miles. Fixing was not easy but was accomplished.Purchased replacement at Autozone.
Inside door handle broke. The handle itself due to metal fatigue. 1st time on drivers side I paid mech to fix, by replacing whole handle assembly. 2nd time I fixed with golf tee and paintbrush handle, cost difference was 150$ I also fixed passenger side interior handle the same way. My 10 year old son gets a kick out of this.
Driver side interior handle breaks inside door. Metal there is too thin and replacements just break again.
inside drivers door handle broke. bought new one at parts store installed myself pretty easy.the pins in the same door are the main problem causing the door to hang putting extra pressure when opening the door
Driverside inside door handle on my silverado broke, pot metal is junk. Had the same problem with the outside door handles on my 1997 chevy astro van; replaced all door handles in about two year span. Got to be some other material to make them out of; they can put a man on the moon
Driver side door handle broke. Bought $50 worth of parts at autozone, took off interior door panel, and fixed it. Kind of a pain, but I got it done.
Just a regular thing. Inside seems to only have so many pulls. Doors adjusted so I don't pull hard, I baby it and it's at least a yearly replace. I've begged for the soil steel handles from anyone but they all just carry the same junk.

Outside broke too but much less of a problem, just much harder to replace.
