inside door handle broke very easy i may say and then was told was 900 dollars to fix it. Due to bad engineering you have to replace the whole inside panel according to my gm service center.I got it out of shop and two weeks later it broke again.still have not fixed it because of the cost
Our company bought two 2010 Silverado pickups, just alike. Both driver side handles broke off at the inside grip with between 70 and 75k miles on them.
Passenger side handle broke with under normal circumstances first @ 15k mileage. Drivers door next with standard usage. Engineered to break...terrible
Inside drivers door, cable broke however cable comes factory attached to latch. Part cost $175.00 I take great care of my vehicles, and the mileage on this 6 year old truck is less than 57,000 miles. This part should last damn near forever. Sorry I use my door handle to exit the truck
door handle on both sides broke... I had to goto a used parts place and had to use super glue.
The interior of this truck really sucks.
Heard pop (like something broke or fell off) when trying to exit pickup from passenger side. Inside door handle no longer opened door. Took to dealership, was told that actuator (? on spelling) had to be replaced. Could open door from outside and remote key lock/unlock still functioned. Evidently cable broke from actuator to door handle and the whole unit has to be replaced. Expensive repair, $300.00.
The interior door handles have broken three times. Twice on the drivers side, and once on the passenger side. The first time I had the dealer fix it for $300. It lasted about 6 months. Very poorly designed.
never had a problem with the truck some bunch of warnings came up reduced engine stabilitation etc like a bunch of things truck was posseseed almost hit by a semi and ended up hitting a pole when i tried to get out of truck the handle broke
