The problem is that the air only blos out the defrost and will not change over to any other outlets. I am having trouble finding the delivery door actuator for this, but have foound the temperature control one and it is working fine, so far. Any help on finding this thing would be appreciated
driver side will start blowing hot air when running AC. and will do just the opposite when running heat. passenger side works fine. you can shut off the truck and restart it and it temporarily corrects the problem.
Upon starting the truck, the mode door seems to cycle from floor to dash to defrost and stays at defrost regardless of switch position. Started IMMEDIATELY after replacing blower moron resistor. Have tried pulling the fuse for various lengths of time, turning off the ac when it gets to the dash position. All to no avail.
The truck always blasted hot air into the cab during the summer and found it was an issue with the controls. Now coming into the winter months the truck sends cool air while sitting and idling and on heat high blast. Heat works when driving. Didn't fix yet.
Last summer while on an extended trip out of town, my AC started blowing hot air from the driver's side vents, but remained blowing cold air from the passenger side vents. No adjustments to any of the settings resolved the issue. After shutting the truck off and restarting, the AC returns to normal functioning for an indeterminate period before resorting back to the split temp again.
My truck sit for better part of a year an several shops later. But now it's up an running the a/c blower barely blowd cold air. When it went down it worked fine. Any ideas?
2003 Buick Rendezvous the heat /AC control panel meltEd from inside replace that and wires second panel only works on 5 wires are good and it did not melt what do you suggest
Inlet air actuator has failed. Cold air on feet all the time. $1000 + to repair. May trade it off for this price.
