Mercedes-Benz CLK63 AMG Convertible Models may Deploy the Roll Bar When Driving Over Large Bumps

(4 reports)

Going over large bumps in convertible models may cause the roll bar to deploy, rendering the roof inoperative. Special tools are generally required to return the roll bar to its stowed position.

the bars deploy twice on the freeway, and it was going about 60 miles to 70 miles only. they push the bars back in at the dealership both time. now the bars deployed when the car is parked, and I turned off the ignition. Something is wrong with the senor. -
