Noise or Vibration When AC Compressor is On on Kia Rio

Problem Description and Possible Solution

A defective AC compressor clutch assembly can cause excessive noise or vibration when the air conditioning is on. Improved parts are available. Replacing the faulty clutch assembly does not necessitate replacement of the complete AC compressor or evacuation and recharging of the air conditioning system.

When I turned on my a/c my car began to vibrate, followed by a burning rubber/plastic smell followed by loss of power steering and failure to start. Kia won't help me with any of my problems, they try and find any loophole or way out of any warranty promised when they smiled and sold me the vehicle.
The ac compressor makes a loud lifting noise when turned on and the belt was slipping on it as well. When the car accelerates it lags and hesitates while the ac is turned on.
The A/C clutch is creating a horrible squeaking noise when the A/C is turned on! I have figured that a new clutch is the answer because the compressor is fine but it is sold together most of the time on Ebay: My solution will be to find just the part and replace it through the front passengers side wheel well and while in there I will change the belt too!
Noisy fan squealing when A/C was turned on-especially first thing in morning. Still have the problem, mileage now at 62,000. Taking car in for a check soon.
