Noticed oil leaking on driveway close to passenger-side wheel, had leak diagnosed/inspected by local repair shop. Was told it was the oil cooler gasket that needed to be replaced. Was quoted high price to replace a $5 part. Will be fixing it myself after ordering part and doing research on the problem.

My car would leak alot of oil so I had a mechanic look into it and according to him the oil cooler was cracked and leaking oil. He said usually these parts dont ever have to be replaced unless its defective. =(
oil leak at seal to oil cooler. It will be fixed tomorrow. I do not think that it will be too expensive...at least that is what I have been told.
