I have owned my Eclipse for 4 years and have had to replace the outside doorhandles 3 times on driveside and twice on passenger. My husband told me to be gentle on them when opening them because I didn't know my own strength. I must be superwoman or something for them to break this many times. lol
The exterior door handles may break requiring replacement, found replacement part on ebay for $7.99, installed the new door handle.
We have replaced the exterior door handles on both sides 3 times and the drivers side has just broke again
Both exterior door handles are pulling away from the door surface. Tried tightening them but it does not help. Planning to replace both before they completely break off. I was able to find a replacement set on Amazon for $24.00. Also my windshield washer switch does not work anymore. The replacement part is going to cost almost $100.00 because I also have a rear wiper.
