Mercedes-Benz S430 4MATIC Stalling and/or "Crank no Start" Due to Failed Crankshaft Position Sensor

The engine may develop a stalling and/or no start condition due to a failed crankshaft position sensor.

Same problem detected and the cost for fixing this was 450$ -
fourmatic mercedes 2000 stalls when the car stops at a light early in am. OK for most of the day thereafter. Have the feeling that it might not start but it has so far. Probably will change CSP sensor -
