Engine and transmission control modules may need to be updated at the same time on Dodge Caliber

Problem Description and Possible Solution
Various engine and transmission fault code issues and driveability concerns have been addressed with software upgrades. Our technicians tell us that in some cases the engine and transmission control modules must be programed as a coordinated change. Driveability concerns may develop if only one module is reprogrammed.

My transmission started slipping, so I bought one from a salvage yard. I put it in, now I do not have forward and acceleration.
Had Fuse Box Replaced, Was Fine For 2 Weeks--Now Blown Headlight, Replaced Bulb, Still Not Working. Checked Fuse Box Seems Ok. Was Told Fuses Had Corrosion On All Contacts & Affected Trans Shifting & Running.I DO Live On South Shore Of LI. So I Guess It Could Be. Was Told There Is Really No Protection Under The Hood From Any Moisture
BOUGHT BRAND NEW IN 06. DODGE HAD TO REPLACE THE WHOLE THROTTLE BODY AND DO A PCM FLASH UPDATE. ONE OF THEIR JACK LEG MECHANICS TOLD ME I SHOULD NEVER HAVE TO CHANGE TRANS FLUID UNLESS ITS LEAKING ON GROUND. WEIRD CAUSE THE MANUAL SAYS TO HAVE IT SERVICED AROUND 80,000 MILE RANGE. SO WHEN I REACHED 100 MILES. MY TRANS OVERHEATING LIGHT CAME ON. SO I HAD THE BLACK OLD FLUID SUCKED OUT AND NEW CVT FLUID PUT BACK IN. NOW CAR WONT EXCELERATE OVER 15MPH. I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER DODGE CHRYSLER PRODUCT, EVER! NOT TO MENTION ELECTRICAL PROBLEMS AND SUNROOF LEAKING. JUNK!
Engine light goes on and off. Shrugs. Upon reaching 49 miles and faulty codes; mechanic states computer processor is not functioning properly
The car died and wouldn't keep a charge but it's not the battery because it's brand new.. I changed the alternator, and after that the car will still not start. I was told to take it in to the dealer to get a reset on the computer, a day after dropping off my car, the dealership calls me to tell me that it has an internal transmission problem, that the gears won't even move. . There was no signs of transmission problems and I've only had this car for a bit over a year
