The vehicle is equipped with active headrests that deploy to protect occupants in a rear end collision. In some cases, a component within the occupant restraint controller may fail and prevent the active headrests from deploying as needed. Front seat occupants would have an increased risk of injury as a result.

Recall repairs on your Chrysler, Jeep or Dodge vehicle must be performed by a Chrysler, Jeep or Dodge dealership. Chrysler will notify known owners of affected vehicles beginning in November, 2017. If you do not receive a notification, but wish to check to see if your vehicle is included, please contact one of your local Chrysler, Jeep or Dodge dealerships. They will also check for any other incomplete recalls on your vehicle. For best results, be prepared to provide your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) to the service department consultant you speak with. The Chrysler recall number is T56.

The occupant restraint control (OCR) module may malfunction and prevent deployment and proper operation of safety restraint devices such as the frontal air bags, seat belt pretensioners and side air bags in the event of an accident. This could increase risk of injury.
