Chrysler Cirrus Problems

The Cruise Control and Speedometer May Fail Due to Speed Sensor Issues on Chrysler Cirrus

Problem Description and Possible Solution

Defective speed sensors on the transmission can cause problems with the cruise control and speedometer operation, as well as erratic shifting. The connectors on the sensors can corrode and/or the connector terminals can spread (poor connection), which will create similar symptoms. Any of these problems can cause Check Engine Light illumination.

speed control stopped working, i have checked all the components except the relay (i don't know which one that is) and the speed control sensor, i haven't been able to find that. the speedometer works so i think i can rule out the speed sensor so it's back to the relay. anyone know which one that is?
