Clunking noise from front drivers side suspension. Sounds like ball joint or lower control arm?
I was driving my car 55 or 60 mile hour than start clicking noise happen lost power and couldn't drive it.
Noticeable rattling noise in the undercarriage on slightly rough roads and bumps. Problem appeared suddenly. Diagnosed by Lexus dealer. Lexus dealer replacement $675, independent auto mechanic $318
Clunking noise heard when I turn at low speeds. Sounds like something is breaking loose as I turn the steering wheel. Still happens as I changed all of suspension parts. Lexus changed the shocks, at least they say they did. The clunking still happens.
Mostly noticeable when coming to a stop. Was pretty sure it was U-joint problem until I read this.
Took to the dealer. Said there was nothing to fix. 8 years later, another dealership stated that a part needed to be replacwd
