Clicking/Knocking Sound From the Brake Actuator on Lexus LS600h

Problem Description and Possible Solution

A clicking or knocking type sound may be noted from the brake actuator when applying the brakes lightly, or if the brake pedal is pressed while the vehicle is stopped. Our technicians tell us a revised brake actuator is available to correct this concern.

At times, while backing out of my garage, I hear a knocking sound while backing up, but it's not consistent. This often happens when the car has sat up over a week (I don't drive it much). 3 days ago, Warning lights came on for my Braking System (Malfunctions) Check Brake (Brake light came on), VSC, PCS, ABS, and Warning light. I was advised that around this time (November), I will need to replace my brake pads. When the warning lights came on, I took it in for brake pads and found out that I have a code B2060 (ABS Malfunction). The mechanic stated he's checking the car for leaks. If so, I will need to replace the Actuator Assembly at approx. $6000. I just went through this spring fixing the Dampner (Clutch) on my Hybrid, at a very high cost. I am hoping this is not the case, but after reading about the knocking sound that I sporadically hear backing up...It may be the case :-( Please advise?

Let's talk~ You have the exact same problem minus the knocking! Is this a set up?

I own the same car and I am tired of the bull! I would love to discuss what you went through!
