Chirp Type Noise From the Serpentine Belt on Jeep Liberty

Vehicles with a 3.7L V6 engine may develop a chirp type noise from the serpentine belt when the steering wheel is at full lock with the engine idling. Our technicians tell us a revised serpentine belt tensioner is available to correct this concern.

about 15 minutes or so and about 5 miles down thye road,there is a high swill sound [sounded like it came from front brakes], it doesnt stop till the jeep is turned off .it almost sounds like metal on metal. any clues?
