Check engine light on due to contaminated fluid and faulty transmission control module on Honda Prelude
Problem overview
On some models an overly sensitive transmission control module (TCM) along with contaminated transmission fluid can cause the Check Engine light (MIL) to illuminate. Flushing the transmission and replacing the TCM usually repairs this issue.
