check engine light has been on 3 days - OnStar says it's a loose gas cap but I've tightened it 3 times and the light is still on. 2nd call to OnStar said "Car has to be driven normally for 7 times and the light will go out"??? Why 7 times?
There is a clogged air line or filter in the line coming from the gas tank to the engine. This is what was wrong with mine. This is how it breathes
Well it was light came on they fixed it in Columbus Nebraska then it came on again in Council Bluffs they said it was a gas cap again took it all apart put a new one on still the light came back on and then they said it was the fuel pump had my car for 8 days for 2 hour fix. Well the light is back on way. Dash said gas cap lose
