I have a manual GTI
check engine light came on
brought to dealer
who said I needed a 1200 throttle body replacement
I complained due to low miles and just out of warranty and now they're doing it free of charge
on the way to to the dealership tonight car wouldn't get into gear and the gear indicator was going haywire, telling me I was in 5th when I was in 2nd. thought I would have to get towed but turning the car off and on fixed the problem (for now.) Will see if they repair properly
The check engine light keeps coming on and in the 2 months I bought it i have taken it back to get checked and serviced because of the check engine light coming on 4 times already and its back on again! !!! VERY AGGRAVATED! !
