Engine light came on 6/15/16. 2010 Sportswagon tdi with 100,725 miles. Car bucked, obvious misfire. Drove to closest Dealer. Dlr Scanned System Codes P0638 throttle purge valve problem. Found issue to be actuater. Replaced actuater. Parts $399.76 Labor $297 plus $16.88 mscl shop charge plus $45.32 tax. Glad to have the $500 VW
Shop Credit which I applied. In fairness - in the 5 years I had the vehicle i only replaced a burned out headlight bulb (not to speak of course of about 5 blown low profile tires at $200 a pop). I like the car other than in winter, we also own a Subaru.
